Instructions for Use:
For Candle Making:
-
Measure beeswax (can be used alone or blended with coconut/soy wax for smoother finish).
-
Melt in a double boiler on low heat (do not exceed 185°F / 85°C).
-
Add fragrance or essential oils (optional) and stir gently.
-
Pour into prepared containers with wicks in place.
-
Allow to cool completely before trimming wicks and burning.
For Skincare Products:
-
Melt beeswax in a double boiler.
-
Blend with carrier oils (such as coconut, jojoba, or almond oil) at your desired ratio.
-
Add essential oils or natural butters (like shea or cocoa) for fragrance and nourishment.
-
Pour into clean jars or tins and allow to cool before sealing.
For Soap Making:
-
Add melted beeswax to your oils before combining with lye solution. Beeswax should be no more than 2–5% of your total recipe to avoid brittleness.
Pro Tip: Always melt beeswax slowly over low heat to preserve its natural properties and prevent scorching.
